On behalf of the Lions Club of Kerikeri I would like to welcome you to our site.
My name is Chris Kew and I am the current President.
I hope you will not think I am being impertinent if I ask you "Why you have come onto our site".
If it is just out of interest as you surf the net, then welcome, please browse through the pages using the buttons at the top of the page and let us know if you have enjoyed the experience or if you think we could improve the site. Contact us on the e-mail address on the "Contact Us" page and let us know your thoughts.
If you have seen some of our members during their fund raising activities and want to be a part of this great experience or at least learn a bit more of what we do contact us on the e-mail address on the "Contact Us" page and we will get back to you. There are 31 members as I write this and we are always looking for new people to join a great bunch of blokes who give up their time for good causes.
We meet for dinner on the first Wednesday of each Month and hold a business meeting on the third Wednesday of each month. Our meetings are usually held in "The Razza" and the minutes of each month are published in our monthly magazine "The Bulletin". There is an abridged version of the Bulletin on this web site to show you some of the many fund raising activities we get up to.
In conclusion thank you for your interest and I leave you with the aim of our organisation:- “To create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary service through community involvement and international cooperation.”
Chris Kew
